1994 to 2001 Dodge Ram Lowering
|
These trucks use front control arms and spindles with a traditional coil contacting the lower control arm providing the suspension action. In 2000 they made a change to the control arm / spindles and that made it so that most manufacturers only list their parts up to 1999. The easiest thing to do is a coil in the front as they fit right from 1994 to 2001. Just have to make sure you get the right one for the engine and cab configuration so you get the right amount of drop. Curious that I remember that Aim Industries used to sell S10 coils for the front of these trucks, and they worked. LOL
The rear is typical leaf spring with riveted hangers and shackles. A set of shackles will get you 2 inches drop, hanger / shackle combo for 4 inches and a flip kit for 6 inches.
Oh, and no 4x4 lowering available. They were a solid front axle. I guess you could pull a leaf if you really needed your 1994-01 Ram 4x4 lowered that bad.
