These trucks use the classic coil, control arm and spindle configuration for the front suspension and are easy to lower by replacing any of the components although coils seem to be the most popular way to drop them. No big surprises here. On the 4WD models they use a torsion bar system and can be lowered by replacing the keys with ones that are indexed differently.
In the rear you will find a rear leaf suspension with riveted hangers and easy to replace shackles making lowering a breeze. Shackles for 2 inches, hanger and shackle combo for 4 inches or a flip kit for 6 inches. The 4WD models are the same as the 2WDs.
