It's time to do some upgrades to your 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002 or 2003 F150?
The Lowering Kit is available in the following configurations. The rear can be dropped 2-inches lower than factory height by using shackles. To lower the front by 2-inches use coils, and the rear by 4-inches, hangers and shackles are required. When going down 4-inches in the front, use spindles and coils, and 6-inches in the rear, use a flip kit and alignment kit.
Kit Notes:
1997 to 2003 Ford F150 2wd Complete Lowering Kit
These trucks use the classic coil, control arm and spindle configuration for the front suspension and are easy to lower by replacing any of the components although coils seem to be the most popular way to drop them. No big surprises here.
In the rear you will find a rear leaf suspension with riveted hangers and easy to replace shackles making lowering a breeze. Shackles for 2 inches, hanger and shackle combo for 4 inches or a flip kit for 6 inches.
