Build your own lowering kit for your F150. Combine the parts you want to get the brand, ride height and pricing that suits your needs.
Belltech has a lowering spindle available for the 2wd F150's. It provides a 2" drop and are easy to install. You can combine them with a set of struts or coilovers for more drop. There is a big advantage to using struts or coilovers though, the fact that they are adjustable means you can tune your ride height to make it the exact height that you want. If you are going with a Belltech or Maxtrac lowering strut they use your factory coils and are easy to install but you will need a spring compressor to remove your coils from the factory struts and install them on the new struts. If you use a set of coilovers they will come pre-assembled and a spring compressor will not be needed. They are adjusted using a spanner wrench to change the ride height.
You also have the option to use the RideTech StrongArm control arms in the front to make sure that your alignment stays where you need it to be. In fact, they are required when using the RideTech HQ Coilovers
In the rear you can use a set of shackles if you only want a small amount of drop. If you're looking for more drop then you need to use a flip kit as the hangers are welded to the frame and are not removable. The flip kit will put the axle housing on top of the leaf springs and then some of them use a set of replacement rear hangers to lift it back up for a more reasonable amount of drop.
If you use your truck for towing then you can add a set of helper air bags to allow you to maintain your ride height while under load.
