Our lowering selection tool for the 2009 to 2018 Dodge Ram 1500 2WD Regular, Quad or Crew Cab Lowering Kit. Each kit can be selected with or without either Belltech NitroDrop 2 shocks, or Belltech Street Performance shocks.

A lowered 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 Dodge Rams are a really cool looking truck.

The Lowering Kit is available in the following configurations.

To lower the front by 2 inches and the rear by 4 inches, the Economy 2/4 kit uses coils on both the front and rear.

The Deluxe 2/4 lowers the front by 2 inches using spindles and the rear by 4 inches using rear coils and alignment kit.

Lowering the rear by more than 2 inches requires shorter shocks.

2009 to 2018 Dodge Ram 1500 2WD Regular, Quad or Crew Cab Lowering Kit

The front suspension on the current series of Ram trucks had little change from the 2006 to 2008 models. The 2WD models kept the traditional coil on control arm suspension. In fact a lot of the parts carry over from the previous model years and you can lower the 2WD models with coils or spindles.

The rear suspension on the other hand was converted to a trailing arm and coil system which provided a smoother ride while reducing the suspension weight. The rear suspension in the 2WD and 4WD models is virtually the same and can be lowered with replacement coils in a variety of different heights. Keep in mind that some of these trucks feature air suspension that will prevent any except the most extreme lowering efforts.
