Our spindles are designed to lower your truck properly with the maximum amount of drop. However, certain wheels with an extreme amount of back spacing (positive offset) will cause interference with an outer edge of the lower A frame. A small 5/16 inch wheel spacer is the best solution to the problem. Some stock 8 inch wide GM Rally Wheels are not recommended for use with our spindles due to the extreme offset. Slight grinding of the A-frame is acceptable. By relocating the wheel mounting point a.k.a. spindle pin higher on the spindle casting, our engineers were able to provide a 2-3” lowering without affecting any other suspension or steering geometry, not even the shock absorber!
